Guide to Free Museum Day on Saturday, September 29

Museum Day Live! is a great opportunity for you and your child to explore one of Washington’s many museums for FREE, thanks to Smithsonian Magazine. During this one-day, annual event, participating museums open their doors for you to have a complimentary experience!

The Museum Day Live! ticket is only good for two people per household, per address. If you go to Museum Day Live! with more than one guest, your other guests pay full admission prices.

To receive your ticket, click HERE to register. You will receive an email ticket that you print out and take with you on Saturday, September 29 to the museum of your choice. Here are just some of the museums participating in Washington:
